Houston Rockets fan here. Gonna head to US next year to watch them and the Dallas Cowboys. Wanna watch Witten and Romo before they retire. Also Dez Bryant. Sooooo good, he's like the NFL's Stringer.

All natural no doubt...

I've seen him without a singlet on, the dude certainly has a weightlifters physique where he's huge and muscular but he's not cut. So he very well could be on roids but the fact that he doesn't have a six pack or defined abs does make me think that he might be clean.

Fair enough. I'd be blown away but I'll take your word for it.

Long time Celtics tragic here. Need to trade up well if we're gonna make any kind of run. Nerlens Noel or Okafor are looking most likely and I'm not too pleased with either! Was hoping they'd try land Jimmy Buckets

As much as I'm not a huge LBJ fan, gotta tip the hat. He rallied his team from game 5 onwards and pulled off the best finals comeback ever. Doesn't hurt when you have one of the best PG's in the league next to you either (and no, I'm not talking about Delly)

One of my best mates is Philly. Wants Ingram.
I still think they'll pick Simmons. He might not be a knockdown shooter, but there's just so much to like about the rest of his game that will allow him to flourish in the NBA.

Having said that I'll be more than happy with Ingram at the Lakers if that's the way it pans out. His length and high release is super hard to defend.

Sounds like they're picking Simmons, although you never know. If I had the first pick I'd be taking Ingram.

It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. Boston are supposedly interested in moving pick 3, and Minnesota are shopping pick 5. Butler doesn't sound too enamoured with the idea of moving, so I don't know if the calibre of player they want is available.

Any Dubs/Mavs fans got thoughts on Nowitzki opting out and considering an offer to move to Oakland?

Anyone been watching the ESPN doco on OJ? It's really good.

For the time it was. Would never work now. Too much is known about DNA evidence.

The evidence didn't really matter in the end.

Predominantly black jury, hearing a case about in a city wound up with racial tension. The prosecution could have shown CCTV footage of OJ committing the murders and I'm sure most of the jurors would have thought the LAPD somehow made it up.

Wasn't it mostly black and Hispanic?
True it wasn't long after Rodney King.

You'd have to be insane to think he didn't do it or at least have a hand in doing it.

It'll fade from memory like anything else. 20-30 years from now, all most people will remember is that he walked, and was probably innocent.

Really? He's already written a book basically walking you through committing the murders and there's interviews with friends of his claiming he confessed to them.
I think the lasting impact of O J, is that he did it but walked because he was a celebrity, he had an excellent attorney and that the investigation was bungled.

I think that's the legacy as it stands.

I suppose it depends on how prominent it is in the future. Obviously the ESPN doco is why we're talking about it now.

I forget which article or podcast I read/heard it in, but it made mention of the charisma he possessed, and almost lamented that he's lost to sports media. Not exactly a sympathetic figure, but the nostalgia is fascinating in light of his criminal history.

There was also the Travolta/Gooding Jnr teledrama.

Oh he was amazing. Really likeable, personable and funny. I get why he had so many police onside after repeatedly beating the shit out of his wife then killing her eventually. You almost can't imagine that'd he'd do it.

Edit: Ha, just realized how insensitive that sounded. What I mean is that a person's public face can often be very different to the monster they are in private. OJ was obviously a jealous, domineering monster but could somehow project a kind, affable lovable oaf. It's something I've always been interested in, how people compartmentalize their sense of self and who they are.

I'm still feeling sick about the Warriors loss. I've tried but I just can't shake the disappointment.

Genuinely stoked for Lebron and Cleveland, but that was harder to take than the 09 prelim loss.......not the 97 prelim loss though. Still not over that one....:)
