That's just mental. $8,400 to change only six traffic lights! Sure, that seems like a worthwhile way to spend tax revenue.

Given there are some other genuine gender equality issues, not to mention things like the homeless crisis in Victoria, this lobby group should be embarrassed with the cause they have chosen to take up.

I reckon they'll all get replaced sooner rather than later with countdown clocks with green numbers signifying walk, yellow numbers in the last 10 seconds of the crossing, and red lights for don't walk. They're an add on at lights in Sydney and Brisbane right now.

Nintendo 64 was about my timeline for when I started video games. The thing is now a lot of gamers are parents so kids are getting brought up with it being a viable pasttime and soon it will take over movies as the number 1 entertainment medium.

Those kids who would have mucked around on a nintendo passing a controller to each other are now playing a computer 8 hours a day and travelling the world, earning triple figures to do it.

Nintendo 64? My mate had a Commodore 64 and the early games came on a magnetic cassette tape. They took about 10-15 minutes to load and there was a 25% chance that they'd crash after about 7 mins and you'd need to start over.

Thems were the days...

Moronic feminist protestors in high-vis outside parliament house having a dig at me for walking past in a suit to get to my tram stop...sorry for having a job that requires corporate dress ladies.

International womens day going from strength to strength this year with some of the absolute twits getting that are getting attention.

Apparently according to someone on here the earth is flat and we have all bought into the story that it is round by the media!!!!?!!??!!???!!!!??

There are people out there with religious beliefs so strong that they completely ignore scientific research which has long been seen as fact.

The Greeks proved the world was round thousands of years ago.

Victorian scientists proved that the world in millions of years old at the youngest 150 years ago.

Didn't realise the Liberal Party caucus posted on bigfooty....

Nats and One Nation too

I remember a guy telling me that I was evil for buying bread on a Sunday morning. The Old Testament forbid it. Fire and brimstone would get me.

There are people who are okay and then there are absolute nutters like that.

Goes with every religion or ideology.

I just don't get religion and people that really buy into it.

I do understand the need for some to "believe" in something to help themselves explain and accept themselves and the world but when I meet highly intelligent people tags completely buy into what I personally believe is completely fabricated non fiction story, I do wonder how the two can exist in one brain.

Brainwashing at a young age works wonders.

Brainwashing at a young age works wonders.

Some religions do that but not all, and very religion has their own "cult" followers.

The born again Christians are the most baffling people in my book. I have no issue with religious people but i ask them all this question and I'm yet to have a decent response from anyone including religion teachers at school

"Can you explain to me why any God would give a child terminal disease and What lesson is that teaching anyone ?

The day I get an answer I can believe I may myself turn to God

Every sports fan should watch the Barca vs PSG game this morning. One of the best games of any sport I've seen.

Libs getting massacred in the WA election.

Well done sandgroper comrades.

Not so much Labor will be better, but Barnett/the Libs have run WA into the ground over the last 5 years. We are still paying mining boom prices for everything & anything when it busted years ago

It flaws me also how it is seemingly intelligent and well read people can still believe in fairy tales.
