In what was supposed to be a two week trial at work as an assistant manager in my store my area manager has offered it to me within 4 days, my numbers are good, I've helped increase certain stats within the store and the team have loved having me since I've been here.

Can't say I'm unhappy with it, I think a few people across the company won't be happy that a 21 year old who's been with the company for just over half a year is already in management while there's been people there for years who've wanted a role and haven't gotten it.

Working at a place for a number of years doesn't entitle you to a promotion when it becomes available, a lot of people don't seem to grasp this

Nah, I actually work with the sister of one of the area managers, across the board they've got people they want to step up but they don't want to because they're making more money as a casual compared to if they went full time.

I just got moved to this store recently for the role and one of our senior casuals makes more money than our boss if the store doesn't make budget for the week, which is insane imo.

And a lot of them don't realise that they're not just going to be given the promotion based off of their work alone, I went out of the way to talk to the area manager and said I was looking to move up, if they had any 2IC/assistant roles going that I'd be happy to move stores and take it.

They looked ****ing old and tired that last game. I love the 3:30am game for tonight, can wake up and see the score without stressing all through the game. Completely 50/50 for me on this one. Kings have been ****ing impressive for a young team in their first playoff run, if they can find a way to bring in one more all-star calibre player, they'll be a serious contender

My Soccer side Q.P.R have sealed championship status again for next season and I'm shocked.Thought we we headed for league 1 for sure. Just hope the front office wake up and decide to invest in our future.

Its going to be fun to watch a Joker v Jimmy FINals, mostly because whoever wins it will be easy to celebrate. First time in a while I won't have someone I hope wins or loses.

It’s a win/win as an NBA fan. As a Curry Stan it’s best Joker doesn’t win because he’s one of the few in the NBA that could catch him on all time rankings but I really love how he plays
