I used to go rock climbing around the glasshouse mountains. Beautiful spot. Absolutely loved living in Brissy, only downside was no good dog beaches compared to Perth, but you got more bands touring and cheaper flights to watch Freo on the east coast so it balanced out.

I've driven through there a few times. A great place.

Pretty crappy day, 16 degrees, but still a great spectacle. Don't envy the fleet beating into a strong southerly to Tassie.

Theme parks are the best idea.

Regardless of the age of everyone.
Seconded on the theme parks, the kids (and big kids) will love them.

Tambourine is a very pretty little "artsy" town with great views back down to the coast.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is nice for a relaxing day.

There are lots of water based activities, jet skis, jet boats, parasailing, cruises - not cheap but it is a great waterway.

Hope that helps.

Perth Glory beats Melbourne City 3-1 last night.

Two months after being pumped by the same opponent at the same venue 4-0.

See where improvements in team leadership can take a team.

Clearly just missing a coach who can do a good press conference. Waiting on J-Lo to deliver these on the regular:

Cheers. NFI where we’re staying as the brother in law has booked it all. Kids are 8&6. I reckon they’ll be too young for movieworld but definitely sea world and water parks should be good.
Hiring cars?
Seaworld definitely

Wet’n’Wild with kids of that age will be brilliant. The wildlife park at Currumbin is great. If you want calmer water for beach swims the creeks are good. Tallebudgera especially.

Damien Martyn (the cricketer) is in intensive care in an induced coma, with meningitis.

I hope he pulls through. Thoughts with him and his family.

One of the most classically graceful looking batsman I've seen.
