They accepted the charge. #Go North!
That's really disappointing and allows the incident to stand as precedent.

I can't understand the rationale behind him being rubbed out, given he wasn't careless, it wasn't intentional and Duryea probably initiated the contact more so than Cunnington himself did. It's nothing other than an accident in a contact sport, and a joke of a decision by the MRP.

Didn't take long for Norf supporters to start the "The tribunal are out to get us!" with the Cunnington suspension.

Another season awaits of those pissants being victimised and conspired against

**** I hate them

Poor Hrovat. One of their best midfields, and he couldn't get a game for the dogs because not good enough (not saying his shit)
I'd say it was more his injury history. I'd back him to get a game over a few players who played a lot of footy for us last year.

You and I both know you want to name the player you're thinking of and watch the fireworks. :D

No comment, but it'll be interesting to see the progress of Nathan compared to a few that we kept. I'm on record saying that letting him go ahead of others was a mistake. I hope I'm wrong.

I think that now, with the flag, there is no longer an impediment to reverting back to the Footscray name. I also feel it is time to let bygones be bygones - we need to welcome back Royce Hart, Peter Rohde, Nathan Brown, even Jordan McMahon...

Maybe revisit that merger option too, if Leon Wiegard has wiped the self-satisfied smirk off his face.

We need some of those statues around VUWO like the ones outside the G too - initial candidates could be Ross Oakley, Matthew Knights and the Talia brothers.

Discuss.

I reckon Nath's almost a lock to be in the top five of their bnf. He's a good enough player, just needs a good run at it.

He's by no means perfect but he really gets a bum rap on here and was tossed aside far too easily for my liking.

Could Koshie be a bigger tool? Nothing would make me happier than the Chinese getting on the Suns.
Instead of buying someone else's home game, he could have changed his contract with Adelaide Oval and actually had a home game. What a selfish prick he is. GC can wear their Chinese flag inspired uniform and he can wear their traditional prison bars.

If he is they finish bottom 4

Don't get the wraps on this bloke. Has never been tagged at Afl level so at north he may get tagged and won't get a sniff

Average footy player that will go ok in an average team but I do agree a couple should have gone before him or should I say with him

Kochie tweet later tonight: "I never realised football contracts could be so complex. Sad."

Port fans live in a bubble of stupidity where all they do is suck Koshie's shaft and pat eachother on the back. **** I've grown to hate them this off season, everything about that club besides Robbie Gray pisses me off.
Unfortunately I'm the same. Port have been my second team since I was little but I can't stomach anything about them anymore.

My shift from loving watching Wingard play to absolutely hating him hasn't helped either.

Like appointment of Evans at GC. Fagen at Brisbane. AFL following the Melbourne model. Should work out well for the QLD clubs.

Don't dislike GC that much. Given reasonable start up concessions compared to the Orange team and been stiff with injuries.

I like Gold Coast and hope they do well, when they get a flag you can't say they haven't done it the hard way. Look at their first draft
.

Pick one - David Swallow. Gun who has been ruined by injuries
Pick two - Harley Bennell. Off field stuff made them get rid of him for massive unders
Pick three - Sam Day. Not great but has been smashed with injuries.
Pick seven - Josh Caddy. Walked out.
Pick nine - Dion Prestia. Walked out.
Pick ten - Dan Gorringe. Spud.
Pick eleven - Tom Lynch. Superstar.
Pick thirteen - Seb Tape. Meh player but smashed by injuries.

That's 1/8 they're going to get good service from.

Then they had the best young kid in the comp Jaeger Omeara get his knees smashed up and lose him for unders. Plus Abletts shoulder got bashed up by Macaffer.

Sure they made a lot of bad decisions but you can't do much when they have luck like they have had.
