The amount of AFL media slamming TAC for dumping Geelong sickens me. I've got to wonder if they're trying to score brownie points with HR/media people at Geelong so they won't be blacklisted or something like that.

They'd had a warning with Smedts. Their CEO said he'd end their agreement if another player stepped out of line. So, their actual captain 2 years later loses his license because he was caught doing 27km/h over the limit and the media defend him?

That really grinds my gears. Nothing against Joel or Geelong. If this was us and Murphy or Bont or whoever did it, I'd say the same. It wasn't just 5km/h. It was 27km/h. Most of us have done some silly things on the road in our youth. Some get away with it. Some don't. Some pay the ultimate price. Joel should be thankful he isn't paying the ultimate price. When you are the captain of an AFL club, you need to set the example.

Joel failed in this instance. He should be punished like any other player on the list, and then play on. No special rules for star players and another set for the 35th to 40th players on your list.

Should have ducked down a back road and he wouldn't have been caught speeding

Cats are in a really good spot where no matter what they or their players do they just never get criticised. Just like the Hawks and Swans are. The media play the whole 'they have been so well run for so long' card which apparently means they can do no wrong.

I'm still baffled Hodge got caught drink driving and didn't even miss a game. I can only imagine the outrage if that happened with us (or any other club outside the three I mentioned).

Brodie Grundy has gone down with a suspected knee injury. Hate seeing players injured, but it benefits us round 1. Particularly because we have no ruckman.

Can see why Geelong waited so long for Vardy. He looks fantastic for west coast.

Mick Gatto confirming he was involved with Essendon. That footy club is nothing but a ******* disgrace.

There's literally no way they can become any more dicey and underhanded....Why do they still exist after this shit?

Does anyone know what the go is between TFS and the club? It seems to me that the club is boycotting the show. It was hilarious watching the panel steadfastly ignore the team that won the premiership, while they fawned over the Brownlow medalist.

Not sure but if the club is boycotting it can only be a good thing.

That show is as stale as last week's bread.

Should have been euthanised years ago.

Susan Alberti sued them and won a lot of money from memory. Wouldn't be surprised if we were boycotting them.

Actually neither were we.
Was there a good reason why we couldn't have worn blue tonight? Given that the Suns jumper is pretty close to the Swans jumper and blue was OK for us to wear against the Swans, I fail to see any logical reason why we had to wear white against the Suns.

Yeah I know..my statement would have been lacking though as the dees were also in white...I hate our white away jersey....I much preferred the other robodog one.

Our home blue is much better this year though.
