He was starting in the midfield at the first bounce then going forward.There's a thread on the Bombers board that is very positive about him; they're saying he's the only decent forward they've got. I can't be ****** watching Essendon games but his stats are average most weeks. I suppose the flashes of brilliance make up for the quiet bits. There was an interview in The Age preseason where he said he wanted to spend more time in the midfield, but that experiment was canned. He's s small forward in a big body.
He just doesn't have the tank to play full time midfield. He is such a frustrating player to watch because if he had half of Picken's dedication he'd be one of the best players in the game.
