I watched the Grand final

Yes. His GF made him the top pick, prior to then Anderson might have give pick 1. Phillips was the third one, who had better disposal and played inside/outside well.

The two earlier finals, he was tagged out of it. Although they aren’t suppose to use tags in TAC.

IF pick 1 was on the table last year, there may have been very few players I wouldn’t have traded for it. GC didn’t even entertain offers, even 3 first round picks I was told was turned down.

Phillips was moving into really good spots but it didn’t show up well until you watched down the ground footage.

I use to hate watching footy from behind the goals but I think the modern game its a must.
