No Friday night games for 3 years, shit Etihad deal crushing profit, and no other club has given as much quality personnel to the AFL plastic teams as us...we should be getting sponsored by a tampon manufacturer as tampons have to be the miracle product stopping our club from leaving a trail of blood whenever we sit down...
They've got more pressing issues than their fitness . To many one way players who a physeder isn't going to cure

Goldy and Cunnington are guns and got them over the line. But that backline would have you nervous as a Roos supporter. Not a lot of class back there.
Hate to say it again , but we missed a handy one passing on Brown.

Wanted to discuss all this talk about the congestion of the game, the low scores and all the talk about how to clear it up and the thought of zones.

I think there is a massive over reaction going on with this and a simple reason for it. The start of the season the games were open and flowing and the stoppages weren't an issue at all. At the same time the umpires were harsh on holding the ball if you shrugged a tackle and got even slightly tackled you were pinged, if you got tackled and dropped the ball you got pinged.

Now you have guys shrugging tackles after tackles, dropping the ball and its play on, guys getting knocked out because umpires won't make a decision and at the same time stoppages have gone through the roof.

Is this just a coincidence or is this the main part of the issue?

That is one of the issues. The other is lack of holding the man free kicks for the on ballers being scragged without the ball.

Yep all straight to the point. Umpires refusing to penalise players who refuse to let the ball go is actually putting all players at risk. Somehow the umpires and the AFL refuse to take responsibility. The Mitchell/ Fyfe and Selwoods dangerous tackling not to mention guys getting knocked out are all cases in point.

Can see that.

I hope he spends more time up forward. Could be a real weapon around the sticks.

Might be released into that role if Hrovat finds some form & Honey cleans up his disposal.
Think he's your natural forward flanker/high half forward playing the Gia last kick into the forward fifty role. Has that sort of class.

If Churchy can get more dangerous around the sticks I'd play him ss a high pressure small forward and Ratbis an in the guts mid. So all fit quite well.
