Lol at the St Flogs, Clint Jones is now there most proficient midfielder, I hope their floggy fans now realise just how far they are going to fall over coming years
Some St. Kilda fan had the nerve, a while back, to tell me on the main board that we'd take to 2017-18 to challenge for finals (not the flag, not top 4, the finals) while they'll bottom out next year finishing 14th before challenging for finals again in 2015. Doesn't make sense.

To be fair, a lot of our supporters were (and still are) saying we'd climb straight back up the ladder if we had a better coach.

It's awful. Really awful. They had to throw Rory Thompson down there to actually get his hands on it. Flanks and pockets running around like headless chooks. Very disorganised.

Ours at least sort of go in running patterns you can recognise. GC were just running around :p
Haha at least our forward pockets aren't headless chooks then!
Some major questions need to be asked about our forward line. Looking forward to see how it operates this weekend though!

Dahlhaus May Dickson

Cordy (Rotating Ruck and Forward)

A man can dream cant he
What is it with this board, that if we talk about recruiting a player, we have to put them in a hypothetical forward line? I've seen it done with now May, Watts, Gumby, Boyd from the draft, etc, etc. Stop! It's annoying!

Don't really see why you have an issue with it. If we recruit a player they need to be able to fit into our structure. It displays why we should/shouldn't target players.

It's not anybody else's problems, it's me being picky, but naming players who have never played a game of AFL, 10 months out from the hypothetical team lineup is just a bit silly - anything can happen between now and then.

Of course, but that's not what I do it for. I'm not saying they'll jump straight into the side, just that those are the structures that would form should we get them and they perform well.

I'm more talking about the general trend of it rather than the accurateness of the ones given. I suppose we both have a point.

Sam Reid playing for gws today, would like to see him end up making it without any more injuries
Yep, not only does he have those dodgy shoulders, he has diabetes doesn't he? I remember one game against Hawthorn where he came back from a shoulder injury, did well in the 1st quarter and had to come off dislocating his other shoulder. Hopefully he can make it to AFL level.

10 disposals, 9 contested possessions, pretty solid half in defence for Reid, only needs to learn to get some cheap uncontested possies and he could be a player.
