You're just saying that because you don't have a face anymore :p
Hahaha, nah, he's just one of those guys that will be a solid player but has no chance of ever becoming anything special imo. Stringer, Menzel, Vlastuin, Macrae, Toumpas, Wines, Mayes and a few others here and there all have higher ceilings. Not to mention their strong need for a developing ruckman with Grundy just begging them to take him at three different picks. They definitely made some odd calls imo.

I know, I agree :p. I said back at draft time they probably could have got him at 12.

Charlie Dixon is making me eat my words. Kicked 6 today, and has been fantastic this year. Always thought he was a bit of a spud.

StringyDog, will you join me in saying this, or maintain the spudliness call? :p
He has actually looked pretty good, not fully convinced especially against the likes of Thornton who even at his best was a horrible one on one defender and Davis who, forget Scully is the current most overpaid player in AFL, but doesn't look like the complete shitkicker I thought.

Who did everybody tip? I keep doing backflips...I've tipped the Crows at the moment but I legitimately have no idea.

Didn't they also take that Aidan Corr guy who's also a key defender?

Plowman won't be a key defender. Will be a rebounder.

But yes - they took Jaksch (key forward/defender), Corr (key defender) and Stewart (key forward who will take 4-5 years before he's even decent).

You guys might disagree but I tend to think this may be alright. KP players, good ones at least, are a rarity at AFL level, whilst there's always going to be smaller players. They obviously have their premiership winning captain & midfielder in Ward (a slow, single tear runs down my eye) and once they have the KP bigman in place, it is very easy to build a team around them.
