Looks like the Post WB curse is back. Remember when the team that played us got smashed next week?
Brisbane (lost Adel), Freo (lost Ess next week), Rich (smashed by Coll) and now Crows (getting walloped by Carl). Obviously we beat those teams up pretty bad.

Or conversely- we losing to some pretty crap teams.

Charlie Dixon is making me eat my words. Kicked 6 today, and has been fantastic this year. Always thought he was a bit of a spud.
Got him in Supercoach. You know how they say talls take longer to develop? That said, what has happened to Sam Day? He was pick 3 and tipped to be the best young KPP in the country in 2010. Without having followed the Suns closely, it appears he hasn't kicked on...

He's bulked up a lot, Sam Day. GC (prior to this round, although this was only GWS) have terrible forward structure, so I would say that's part of it.
Other than that, I guess you can just say the old "talls take longer".

They have terrible forward structure because Day doesn't work hard enough and doesn't provide contests. Don't think he's going to make it to be honest.

Walker's injury looks pretty similar to Buddy's injury in the finals in 2011, so hopefully he'll be only out for a few weeks rather than potentially the season.

Has ruined my SC this week though.

StringyDog, will you join me in saying this, or maintain the spudliness call? :p

Does anybody else follow TAC Cup much? Country looks very strong this year, as do SA and Metro. Think it may come down to the latter two but gee Country has surprised me with the quality on their list. Their depth in the midfield is unparalleled.

Looking forward to going to a few games this year. The ones down at Simmonds, obviously, but I'll be going up to Melbourne as well this year hopefully.

Go Country :D:thumbsu:

I'm a Metro boy myself but I'd love to see Country get up. They've got a few players that I'm a huge fan of (Willsmore, Fort etc).

Country remind me a lot of the 'Dogs this year to be honest - a lot of small, ball-winning types, not many game-winners and undersized KPFs (unless Fort swings fwd). They have a hell of a lot of talent though.

SA are going to be a really exciting team to watch too.
