The talent pool has been spread so thin in the AFL having 3 stars will keep you up there.
NahNicks will be sacked before Hinkley.
End of next year. Ken will be extended again.

He knows they lost by 36 points right?Koch doing AA breakfast.
Koch throwing Jase Burgoyne under the bus.
"Lost the moments, when Jase fell over and they got that easy goal"
Like Tredrea last night blame the players, no mention of Ken.
But can blame a 20 year old kid.

Oh and Dixon had one disposal for the match, a handball.
But did he "bring the ball to ground"?
How that fraud convinced anyone he was a premier forward has me beat. Huffs and puffs and has tattoos and that's it.
For two top 4 sides, this is a great game to highlight how diluted the talent pool is.
Some very ordinary players on both sides for two top 4 sides.
Elite National Competition my arse.
I said last night… port have beaten 14th 15th 16th 17th and 18th. They lost to us 12th. Collingwood and Melbourne and now Carlton. They beat Essendon but Essendon are an anomaly having only played lower 8 teams as well. Neither they or Essendon are actually as good as their ladder position says they are.
And another thing - I thought this game was close to a sellout?

A Thursday night, a big drawing Vic side, not raining (didn’t rain all afternoon).
We get 40,965 against a bottom 4 side on a Sunday twilight game.
WTF!
Carlton started the round equal 4th and 8th on percentageDidn't realise how damn close that top 8 is.
Carlton temporarily in the top 4
Still feels like Collingwood will get a run on and finish top four. Injuries their concern though.Didn't realise how damn close that top 8 is.

Did they say 2026, or just a plan in place?I don’t think so, haven’t they already said to carr it’s his from 26?
This is the story under Ken's coaching since 2013.Port isn’t a top 4 side. End of story.
They have played 8 games at home out of 12 and have a 5-3 record and two of those wins were against Freo (3 points) and Hawthorn (1 point) and nearly got run over by Geelong (6 points).
They may be 8-4 but they so easily be 5-7.
How do people not see this? They are the opposite of us - they win the close ones, we lose them.
Not giving it up but with no results in 119 years he really should be sacked, but port obviously don’t think Carr is ready just yet or they’d sack Hinkley.Did they say 2026, or just a plan in place?
Why would Ken give up a very lucrative job if they make Finals this year and next?
And they will.

Yeah that’s surprising, there would have been a decent Carlton turnoutAnd another thing - I thought this game was close to a sellout?

Yes we are a larger club with more supporters, not a big surprise given it’s been that way for 30 years. And another thing - I thought this game was close to a sellout?

without looking I'm sure they have 80% of games in Vic giving them a great chance.Still feels like Collingwood will get a run on and finish top four. Injuries their concern though.
Reckon you’re wrong on Essendon. They started the year with some doubt, they are banking wins which brings confidence and belief for a team like them. And they have played 8 games at home.
Both Essendon and Port are frauds.

I can’t see any deficiencies with their team, strong forward line, midfield and defence plus a decent coach.
Unlikely they’ll win it but they will beat some decent teams and cause some issues for the rest of the year and finals.
