Berry should end up a decent player
Maybe, but he's in that list right now.

Given that top 10 makes finals now... i think port might get in depending on injuries...I don't think they'll fall to the bottom 4 with their top end talent (should they still fit), but it's remarkable that their depth has gotten even worse.

Have you actually had a look at their list?
Beside Rozee, Butters and JHF it stinks. If anyone of those 3 misses a game, they are cactus.

Port have an amazing fixture next year don't they? If I recall correctly their top end of Butters, Rozee, JHF, Georgiades should get them to a 4-0 or 5-0 start with the quality of opposition they've got. Then they'll have some real momentum.
Plus the NGA and Father Son's they've got coming in next year, including a pick 1 talent, and the looming potential of NWM still. Hopefully Butters leaves!
Yes, if you can't tell I'm still worried about them...

Carr will have to find some new tricks as 19 onthe field won’t helpThey could easily make finals but they aren't in contention.
Their backline is not even close to being good enough.
Their forward line is very ordinary outside of Georgiades, while their best small forward just retired.
you rate rozee above georgiadis? delusionalHave you actually had a look at their list?

95% of the comeback was accomplished with 18 on the field.Carr will have to find some new tricks as 19 onthe field won’t help
Geez I'd take Visentini in a heartbeat, young athletic developing ruck that's already had a taste of AFL and looked alright. Writing off Joe Berry at this point would be very premature after only 1 year in the system IMO.You've been generous to Durdin, Visentini, Wehr, Cochrane, Berry and Richards.

Will Brodie might be a good pick-up for them, had a great season in 2022 at Freo when Carr was midfield coach, then bizarrely wasn't picked for the last 2 1/2 seasons, presumably a reason why but I don't know what it is
Would take their centre square players...Who would you take from their team to put into our best 23, with a view to maximise our chances in the next match?
Actually the crazy thing is it doesn’t work that way. Teams at the beginning of this year would have been licking their lips when they were earmarked to play us twice. Every year the top 8 changes so an “easy” draw can quickly become harder than you expectPort have an amazing fixture next year don't they? I agree, they will rebound quickly.
It won't work like this but in paper they only need to win one game against a 2025 top 8 side and win the rest and they make it. They will do that easy. They should of beaten us in the first showdown.
They added Durdin and Brodie though. They got rid of Atkins and McEntee
It's not like they made huge improvements to their squad, by being the 1st team to ignore the national draft. With a lack of decent picks, they have had to bring in options. They added Durdin and Brodie though.
Nil all draw
How is their '26 team any better than their '25 team?
Organic growth?
Softer draw and a top 10.
They should get a better run with injuries. I am not saying they will win the flag but I can see them getting say 12 wins which should be enough for a spot in the top ten.
Their fixture is ridiculous, makes our 2025 draw look brutal.Have you actually had a look at their list?
