How refreshing if a non midfielder won the Brownlow again?
I can't even remember the last one. Was it Lockett??

Scott Wynd in 1992 which was preceded by Jim Stynes winning in 1991.

Lockett was joint winner with John Platten in 1987.

Why can’t there be multiple gather rounds.
Melbourne get one most weeks,
Have one in Perth Sydney Adelaide and Brisbane.

I actually do think it would be great to schedule Crows and Port games at Adelaide oval on the same weekend at least once a year.

Make both games against teams with good local or travelling support.

Just because it would be great for interstate and regional supporters to come to Adelaide and get to a couple of games of football across the weekend.

Either as supporting the opposition or maybe you have a group of Crows and Port supporting family/mates from a regional area and can all get along to a couple of games together.

You could do the same by sending Crows/Port in this case to the same state on the same weekend. Mixed groups of supporters can go watch both games.

That I can go to Melbourne and watch 3 or 4 games of football certainly factors in to my decision making vs. going somewhere else and just watching our game.

When was the last time we won down there?

I think it was 2003. I was at that game and we won it well.

I can remember one solitary voice from the crowd crying out as Roo lined up yet another shot on goal, "CAN SOMEONE PLEASE PICK UP MARK RICCIUTO". I seem to remember Roo kicking quite few that day.

Sadly, it's our 20 year anniversary this year and I've seen every one of those losses.

The Supercars drivers reacon the Adelaide track is one of the best tracks in Australia and at the same time is the most taxing on the mind and body for a driver..

they reacon 250k’s around the Adelaide circuit is harder on you than any other track in Australia.. drivers often physically collapsing after races in exhaustion..

The thing that bugs me is...how much money do the numpties calling for the game to be moved, think the SA Gov gave the AFL for the right to host the round?

From a financial point of view the Gather round is a financial boon for the AFL
