We made the guy and now it feels like he has no emotional attachment to the club.

Yeah I love Eddie but most of the times when he speaks about us it feels like it's a bit forced positive/obligatory just to not upset a huge fan base. Hopefully I'm wrong and reading into things a bit much.

This is what gather round is all about! The AFL uniting all clubs supporters behind a common cause they can all get behind. In this case it just happens to be booing an unlikeable JHF.

(Full disclosure: I actually think JHF has shown enough and will be gun down the line with more experience and a bigger tank, just poking some fun.)

I tend to agree. I think with the media being so competitive for spots and so Vic centric I think Eddie thinks his best chance is being Carlton.
