If we won two more games and scraped into an elimination final, nothing would have changed. It'd again give a bad administration a way to sweep it all under the rug.

The pressure heaped on the media helped cause that untenable position and losses.

The camp was weekly fodder.

I thought there were rumour of the infamous camp during the 2019 season with players leaking information to the media? In 2018 we missed out on the finals as we had a lot of injuries and even entered the 2019 season as one of the premiership favourite.

Even the power admit they got the idea from a trip to the UK where they played an exibition match and while they were over there Kochie and the marketting team went to a Liverpool game..

Pretty much everything went their way (clearly the footy God still wants Hinkley as the Port Power coach), injuries to 2 KPD in the 1st quarter so up a rotation for 3 quarters to some fluky wind right at the end.

Nah he can't. Port traded every pick they have until a pick in the late 30s in this years draft in a huge deal to get Rioli and JHF. So unless they are willing to trade players for high picks or to become a destination club again by trading in the next missing piece, Port are essentially prisoners to the current squad.

I can see them trading Georgiadis now to get into the first round and maybe even Dursma for a pick in the 3rd. But they wont have the picks to get anyone. Plus free agents now wont be fooled in running to Port under the promise of premiership tilt. They are cooked. lol
