It’s really the whole 10 year with one coach and no flag bit.

Nah he can't. Port traded every pick they have until a pick in the late 30s in this years draft in a huge deal to get Rioli and JHF. So unless they are willing to trade players for high picks or to become a destination club again by trading in the next missing piece, Port are essentially prisoners to the current squad.

I can see them trading Georgiadis now to get into the first round and maybe even Dursma for a pick in the 3rd. But they wont have the picks to get anyone. Plus free agents now wont be fooled in running to Port under the promise of premiership tilt. They are cooked. lol

To be honest, looking at us and port, i'd say we currently look like a club more on the up than they do from a prospective player trade perspective with our youth and how we are now playing. Hoping it continues for a ling time to come

You could see it that bearing Swans away whilst losing the inside 50 count by 22 is a very good sign. Tidy up their work between the arcs and they could be highly competitive.

I mean sure, he'd have never of kicked the 40 metres they were away nfrom him but to turn your back and then not make the distance...

Those defending Ken though are not really doing it for Ken . It's guys like Kane and Cassisi trying to protect Chad, Hartlett, Lobbe and others.

Chad is basically unemployable in the AFL industry outside of Port. Kane isn't going to call for Ken to step down and do his brother out of a job.

The story of Port under Ken has been a good team that can't get it done against the great teams. The downhill skiier moniker didn't come up with itself.

This year, they are not in the same group as Collingwood, Melbourne or probably Carlton.

In the next bracket with Sydney, Brisbane, Richmond and Bulldogs of teams who have been up the top but hanging on and could slide very easily

It could be an interesting season with about 12 clubs with top 8 credentials.
