Liking the talk that if (when) we get Gather Round again next year that the Barossa and Mclaren Vale are a chance to get games. Surely Glenelg hosts a Richmond game too?

Yeah that’s it. It’s her gender, not the cringey, nasal commentary.

Everyone loves the male commentators too, BT, Derwayne, and who could forget Basil!
It's not even her voice. She just frequently gets stuff wrong and doesn't know who the players are

Looks like North can only play 1 to 2 quarters just like us last year so it will be interesting if they can pinch a few games. If not, we might have 2 borderline 1st rounders from GCS and North (Hawks and West Coast certain to be bottom 2) in what hopefully continue to be a stronger draft.

yep..they are where we were a couple of years back..they will get another season or 2 of high draft picks in and can trade for players - their time is not now, its in 3-5 years time

I'm not sure I like both getting a game in the same year.
I'd probably rotate the regions.

Year 1) Adelaide Hills
Year 2) Barossa Valley
Year 3) McLaren Vale

etc.

Also, I do like the idea of Glenelg, but I doubt big 4 teams will ever head there.*

I'm thinking something like

Thursday Night - Adelaide Oval - Adelaide vs Melbourne
Friday Twilight - Norwood Oval - Fremantle vs North Melbourne
Friday Night - Adelaide Oval - Port Adelaide vs Richmond
Saturday Afternoon - Barossa Valley - West Coast vs Sydney
Saturday Twilight - Adelaide Oval - Brisbane vs Hawthorn
Saturday Night - Adelaide Oval - Collingwood vs Western Bulldogs
Sunday Afternoon - Adelaide Oval - Essendon vs St Kilda
Sunday Afternoon - Glenelg Oval - Greater Western Sydney vs Gold Coast
Sunday Twilight - Adelaide Oval - Carlton vs Geelong

*I'm just thinking of local grounds.
I'd put them into 4 categories

1) Amazing locations, poor facilities with minimal room to get adequate facilities (for 10k+ crowds) - Glenelg, Norwood ovals
2) Pathetic locations, Room to put in extra facilities (portable toilets, food trucks etc.) - Nourlunga, Elizabeth ovals
3) Average locations, room to put in extra facilities - Prospect, Richmond, Woodville ovals
4) Good location, not enough capacity for fans, no room for extra facilities - Unley Oval.

Maybe rotate the Friday Twilight game between Norwood and Glenelg ovals, with the Sunday game rotating between Prospect/Richmond and Woodville ovals.

Go for a 6/2/1 split (AO/suburban/regional)
