SOS up to his old tricks, re-recruiting Dow to Saints.

Who will be his next Blues or GWS target...

Tanunda redevelopment delaying game this year. Mt Barker 2 games, the home of football keeps 2 games, Adelaide oval 5.

Not official but supposed to be announced this month

Good news if Norwood keeps two games.

The early Friday game is the timeslot with the most potential.

Personally I am not a fan of the Mount Barker games or anywhere that's not close to the city.

I get why people and the Government want a game in the Barossa but it's not great for the interstate football supporter.

Why would probably the smallest SANFL ground with poor parking, crowd facilities and access be considered for gather round?
Unley is pretty well the same size as Norwood.
Norwood is 165m X 110m
Unley 160m X 115m
Unley hosts AFLW games very well and with the grass areas is probably more comfortable and family friendly than Norwood.
Both have a capacity of 15k

I understand your Sturt bias. As a SANFL follower over many years I find that a remarkable comparison. I don't like Norwood oval personally but Norwood's 15k capacity is not the same as an Unley. Crowd catering. transport and facilities are at Norwood.
Imho the best playing condition on SANFL grounds would be Panther Park and Elizabeth ovals. The against is where those grounds are not in ideal locations. You're not guaranteed getting your parked car back at Elizabeth.;)

It’s not a Sturt bias, I’m just stating facts re capacity, ground size and part of the reason why the surface is being re laid and lighting upgraded.
As far as “family friendly” would you rather take a rug and sit on lawn at Unley with a family with a couple of playgrounds on site or stand/sit on bitumen and concrete?

Lay out the picnic rugs, not going to allow 15k which the AFL would want to maximise
