Her and Sarah Hosking really had a Grub-Off on the weekend.

Should be an easy 2-week suspension for a deliberate dangerous ponytail pull like that in AFLW.

Lauren Young making her long awaited AFLW debut for Port after her own multiple knee reconstructions. Will be interesting to see if she can put a run of games together.

She was at a ridiculous higher standard than anyone else at junior level, but we’ve seen with some other early picks over recent years that doesn’t always translate over especially off the back of injuries.

Probably also one to watch due to her being a Crows fan before Port got gifted her and the lingering thoughts that Port will always be in Rasheed’s ear.

She seems pretty happy at Port from all accounts. Probably helps them getting all her teammates as well from their entry concessions.

That startup really starting to hurt from the lack of similar new talent on our list.

Some handy results for us this week. Sydney take down Carlton to prevent them from leapfrogging us on the ladder, and Melbourne lose to Fremantle to keep us theoretically within touch of them. Only one win ahead of us, but a massive percentage advantage.

All things being even they should win next week, more talented team for sure - who have actual key forwards now compared to what the Crows lob up, it will just be a little bit of the mental battle if they believe they can beat the Crows.

It will boil down to whether our defence can stifle their forwards. If so, we can win on the rebound. If not, we won't win a shootout.

As per usual the Brisbane hometown umpires really dragged them back into this game against Melbourne with some absolute pearlers in this 3rd quarter. Absolute masterclass on display, probably the most consistent thing about umpiring in the history of AFLW.

And it leads to an all time choke from the Swans against a quite frankly horrible Essendon team, obviously the Molloy absence got them in the end but they threw away a top 8 spot this season with choke-job losses against abysmal sides in Collingwood, GWS and Essendon.

Can argue Swans could and should have finished in the top 6 and Port you could also argue looked in the 6 best teams in it too by the end and both won’t play finals.

Port has finished their season on a high, especially with Gemma kicking the 100th goal. Whereas the Crows may possibly be going out on a real low. Interesting to see what happens next year.

With West Coast and Sydney both losing, the path is still potentially open for us to finish 6th with a win tomorrow and secure a home final, if Saint Kilda also lose to the Bulldogs.
