Yes, that's apparently the reason .....reading up on Connery, sounds like he was a true Scotsman in demeanor

Not so much any real love of acting ....once he had enough money, off to the golf courses he went

Fun Fact: even in his first major Bond Film .....Sean Connery was wearing a hair piece

And of course the Crows Connection exists ......Ennio Morricone, the great film composer with his superb theme music .....was also used extensively by the AFL at Brownlow presentations ......AND the Crows slow-mo Grand Final Highlights 1997, post Grand Final by Channel 7

Of course I was. Roger Moore is who I grew up with.

Daniel Craig is just a guy with two first names,but he definitely suits the evolution of James Bond though. It’s not his fault the writers and directors gave him no charisma

The 2006 version got me back into James Bond .....up till then Roger Moore did his best to kill my enthusiasm ....talk about no charisma, always saw him as the Saint, not a James Bond

You are obviously a lot older than me. I wasn’t around when the Saint was at its peak. It’s a funny thing though. The modern James Bond put me off James Bond. I walked out of the cinema mourning the death of the old style of Bond, knowing it couldn’t be resurrected.
