Eagles might be minus Shuey next week? ... lined up Dangerfield, ran past the ball and made high contact ... doesn't look like he hurt him too much, but that ticks the boxes for a week off surely?

Oh right, i forgot we have them next week. Off back to back 6 days breaks while they get a 9 day break

****!
With our trip to Perth thrown in ... its probably on par with playing the Dogs off a 10 day break this week ... great fixturing

Good to see Geelong are being exposed as the overrated club they are, even if it's the eagles standard bullying performance
I loved the narrative they went with in the build up, that West Coast is horribly out of form (which is fair) but Geelong is a world beater after playing 3 straight at home. These two are pretty much identical in their love of their own dung heap.

Happy for West Coast to win because **** Geelong, and I'd much prefer an (over?) confident West Coast at home than one faced with a 5 game losing streak, 3 at home

God my tipping is shit this year. Didn't rate Geelong after they had those three awful losses and Didn't tip them once at Kardinia Park against three flag contenders. So this week I tip them as they fly to Perth in top form to face the Eagles, (who have been pathetic recently) and they decide to throw in a stinker.

my tipping style is to decide a team is shit, be proven wrong, and then stubbornly tip against them in the paranoia that the day I admit my mistake is the day they prove me right all along.
I tipped the Weagles.
I'm also mid-table in the tipping comp.

Mitchell, Priddis and LeCras are slower than a wet week, going to be interesting to see how our speedy backs and mids go against them
Out of our next 3 matches, I'm actually the most confident of us coming up against the Eagles. Think we could expose them with our ball movement on the outside and also control the game on the inside.

One I'm least confident of is the Swans.

If we win the next three and beat a very strong inside group in the Swans I'm taking the lid and throwing it into the bay.

Listening to Dean Cox on Triple M, sounds like Kennedy wont get up either.
I said at the time Kennedy did it I'd be shocked if he played us, WCE were either kidding themselves, or playing funny buggers suggesting 3 weeks.

Mitchell has been reported as well, apparently nothing in it though
He'll be lucky to get a fine ... just put Selwood in a headlock and had a chat. Although it is the protected species Selwood, so he could get 8 weeks.

I'll be commissioning engineers to invent me some sort of Lid Propulsion device for maximum distance.

Find it strange that Selwood gets pushed around and barely anyone from Geelong tries to help him out. If that happened against us you'd have the campaigner squad (Bugg Lewis Viney Vince ANB) straight into them.

General Geelong mentality ... if Dangerwood doesn't do it, no one else will.

Yep agree, Sydney are a very hard team to read but gee they can still beat anyone on their day I reckon. Hope we can win at least 2 out of those next 3 games.

Not a very good squad. If Danger or Selwood got injured they would plummet harder than any other team

Nothing in the Mitchell one but Shuey ran straight past the pill without even looking at it so he gets a week, has to.
I too tipped Geelong and don't think I've tipped them correctly all year. Pretenders.
As TheCount said, at the time I too thought there's no way Kennedy will get up for us so I think they are just fluffing. He was never a chance last night and hopefully not next week either.
The commentators talking up Darling last night - was I watching a different game?
I haven't seen a better built bloke who is that soft.
The mark he took to kick his second goal looked like he didn't want to catch it and it landed in his half stretched out hands by default.
In saying that, he'll kick 9 next week.
