Nothing in the Mitchell one but Shuey ran straight past the pill without even looking at it so he gets a week, has to.
I too tipped Geelong and don't think I've tipped them correctly all year. Pretenders.
As TheCount said, at the time I too thought there's no way Kennedy will get up for us so I think they are just fluffing. He was never a chance last night and hopefully not next week either.
The commentators talking up Darling last night - was I watching a different game?
I haven't seen a better built bloke who is that soft.
The mark he took to kick his second goal looked like he didn't want to catch it and it landed in his half stretched out hands by default.
In saying that, he'll kick 9 next week.
I think Supermercado has him penciled in for a strong Kingsley performance.

This should bring an end to the arguments re. the Greenwood free:

I come in peace to offer some explanation to help set minds at ease.
I personally don't like the way that the Greenwood free is officiated but the call was actually correct.
If you pull it in, you are responsible for getting back out so while it looks stupid when someone is then holding the ball to him, you cannot just throw your arms in the air and give up. Official rule below:

This should bring an end to the arguments re. the Greenwood free:
It should ... but we know who we're dealing with ...

You can even go back through a couple of years the Laws videos (on the AFL site somewhere), and there will be examples of players who don't even dive on the ball (therefore they need to be given more time and/or just need to make a genuine attempt) who throw their arms out and are pinged as a result ... it's been a directive for years.

I don't really understand the 'most people like watching it so he should get off with just a fine' argument actually works. Don't the actual rules have to come into play at some point? Or do the MRP just do an exit poll of SEN callers to decide who gets done and who doesn't?

How bloody easy does danger go down though. Do you think Selwood or Viney would lie on the ground after something as easy as that lol
He's a tough player but if he gets the slightest injury he goes down like he has been shot, my Geelong supporting mate doesn't like it at all. Reminds me of a guy I played soccer with, he would bust a gut running all day but would milk the **** out of any contact. I played futsal against him one day and we had a head clash, I split him open just above the eye and he was lying still on the ground for a good 5 minutes (Was completely fine).

Bit of value in Carlton at $3.30, I reckon. Saints and Norf each at $1.92 which is a bit strange given their ladder positions, so Saints look good to me with Riewoldt coming back in.

Friday night football, two Etihad tenants and the crowd looks south of 30k. Pathetic, really.
Yeah terrible crowd by the looks ... but can we touch on the quality of the game? St Kilda's 3rd Friday night game of the year, and these two teams look every bit of their ladder positions ... and we've got just the one ...

True Saints have more Fridays but marquee games like ANZAC eve and QB make up for it. That being said, we'll most likely be given a fair few more fridays next year since our games are usually close or at least to a fairly good quality.

And using AFL language, our 'optics' are good. High scoring, fast running.

North just hit that patch where they were in form after the Adelaide game. Don't look anything like that team tonight. Goes to show how important having Gawn would've been in that game.

Of course when we play them again we've gotta go to Hobart (where there record is very good) rather than Etihad...they don't play any other Vic based teams there...in fact they don't even play West Coast or Freo there.
