Yep. My back finally went after uni - hunching over desks and bad lecture theater chairs all day), then riding a bike home with laptop, clothes in the bag + sitting at work when not studying. Back pain started in my lower back. Heaps of physio, remedial massage and pilates got rid of that. Back pain actually travelled north and stopped just under the right shoulder blade.
I did pilates once a week for year, and supplemented that with at home stuff every 2nd day with core stuff. Got it under control now. Learned heaps about pain, different types of pain, posture awareness your body and how it all works but it is something that still needs to be managed. Also, and probably one of the most important things, is to get a standing desk at work, with a higher chair you can sorta lean on. Once I did at my work, I copped a bit for it for some reason, but now i look around and I see probably 15 of them when 3 years ago there were none. Can't believe it isn't more tbh, with how many people experience back pain.
Good luck with it though, PG.
