Poor sides tend to start the season well but tire, thats why whilst in an ideal world we would have pumped Carlton in rd 2 we just did enough to win.

Teams like Carlton/Brisbane/North will be significantly easier to play against as the year goes on, morale goes down and their kids tire. There is always a lot more floggings in the last couple months of the season than any other time due to this reason.
Yeah great call. Carlton is also getting younger every couple of weeks as well, this week with Kreuzer out (huge loss) and Thomas (probably an improvement)

On a related note, feel like we got the best chance with the Dons in terms of timing, 5 day break + the dirty dozen struggling after that early burst.

Carlton seem to battle when Kreuzer goes down. Phillips was useless around the ground while Kreuzer might have taken more than a few grabs. Longs punts to no one all over during the first half.

It's important to differentiate in that if it is a website I may like to visit. If it's a room in his house, I surely do not

It could be a website of a room in his house where [things] happen.

The Dogs are currently making our defence look positively air-tight. Lions would be roughly 5 goals from 5 inside 50s. They've also shanked about 6 shots at goal.

It's gotten worse, Lions going nuts! 4 goals in 5 minutes!

Also, I really like Bob Murphy, but these guernseys with "Bob 300" on them or whatever it says just below the collar... garbage.

That should be reserved for a Troy Broadbridge/John McCarthy type thing

Or for when a Ted Whitten/Ron Barrassi passes

Not when a bloke plays hes 300th

Agreed. Can't be bothered posting this in the unpopular opinion thread, but clubs should be more sparing with the black armbands as well. Really should be limited to people who have played or worked for a club.

Remember when they were asking for a priority pick? Turns out like us they just needed a decent coach and ceo
I think we all knew that. AFL are specialists in poorly thought out pointless gestures. This lot are going to be very good if they can keep the team together. They're not easybeats. Actually nobody is - though Port were pretty fortunate to be playing the Carlton under-19s yesterday.

Feel like the umps are going for the dogs.

Agree hogan needs to tackle - i have the feeling watts is doing it much better this year
