It would be hypocritical of me to write Melbourne off as flat track bullies after spending so long ridiculing the people who gave the Eagles that tag over the years.

But **** that, who have they beaten at off an AFL ground? Get back to me in 10 weeks Melbourne.
Nobody, but that doesnt stop everyone fawning over them & conveniently forgetting the hawthorn loss or the Richmond loss where they were completely outplayed. (at the G as well.)

Personally I think they are full of front runners who look really good when things go their way. When Gawn isn’t dominating in the ruck, they all drop off. I suspect they will be found out this year in the finals when the heat is on.

Lenny Hayes (or another Saint of that era) played out a game on what turned out to be an ACL once. Must have been an amazing painkiller.
Once the ligament snaps the pain isn't long lasting.

You're right about Lenny though, got about 7 dream team points in the second half though

I reckon the game will be closer than people think. The tigers aren’t exactly playing the greatest of footy at the minute, just getting the job done against lesser sides. Really should have been beaten last week, actually, had St Kilda had half decent finishing skills (which I’m sure they will find tonight. )

Big game for Essendon, any chance that they have of resurrecting their season goes on the line tonight. Fully expecting this to backfire but I’ve tipped the bombers.
Well, there goes that tip.

Seems like I had more optimism in the bombers season than the bombers themselves.

They’ve regressed back to Essington again.

Carbine Chaos do you disagree? Or as Eagles supporters should we be pleased that a potential star at a rival club has been injured again?
For Bennell, I say GTFO, go rack another line and fade into oblivion.

For someone who works their ass off but is crippled by injuries regardless of club, you should show a little sympathy
