Anyone see the big Richmond ruckman break zaharakis collarbone in a tackle? Doesn't seem to have done his force and mass and impact calculations prior to the tackle. Interested to see if anything comes of it. I haven't seen it as our game was on btw

Has any contentious suspension hit a big Melbourne club at the top of the ladder yet?

Freo will get smashed regardless.
Freo win - benefits our finals push, Pie melts everywhere, main board trolling
Pies win - expected, Freo fall further behind, Freo melts
Pies win big - Freo melts would be epics, subscribe to Freo board

So, as is usual when we're flying high and our game is out of the way this round...

Are we barracking for Freo or the Pies today?

I’ll be barracking for Pies to win by a large margin.

Freo dont melt they just insert their endless list of excuses led by Ross Lyin.

5 year rebuild = biggest excuse of failure in the league

No surprise the Freo simpletons swallow this balony

Norf doing to brisbane what we should have done to the Saints.
noticing good team this round are flogging their opponents. Still fuming
It's a nice problem to have.

10-1 sitting a game clear and our percentage is 'only' the third best in the competition.

I swear you guys would not be happy unless we went a whole season undefeated and won 100 quarters from our 25 games.

I'm not asking for perfection. But I am looking for is us, being the top team in the league to not concede 7 goals to 1 and nearly give away the game at home against a team who is a draw away from being equal last.

That should be a fair expectation, should it not?

Geelong 2008, Brisbane 2001-2003, Hawthorn 2013-15, these sides and countless more have had off days.

That doesn't mean we should be happy with it, far from it, but it means that in the greater scheme of things it's a good problem to have. Conceding 7 goals in a quarter but still winning is bloody good, because it shows we lit it up in the other three.

No side wins every quarter in every game.

I think the players reactions after winning said everything about how they saw the result.

The rest of us not sitting in fear of a Simmo bake can all chill out a bit. That last quarter was the definition of cue in the rack....
