If we lose Gov/Gaff etc we better spend the free money trying to get Coniglio.
For sure, was probably holding out for a flag before moving home but who knows when they are going to put it all together

Think I’d prefer GWS over Port in top 4. Port are massive pretenders and we need someone to knock off Tigers/Collingwood. Also out of all teams I could definitely stomach GWS winning the whole thing if we don’t get the chance.

That win against gws a few weeks ago is season defining stuff.
Last week was season defining too. Beat a top team at the MCG was pretty much the last hurdle before the lid came off.

This team continues to surprise and surpass. Notching up the wins but still competitive in the losses - the Essendon game being an obvious exception. Today's 9 goal win while rarely stepping out of second gear shows that we can do it even when not at our best.

I am very sure they are all focused on taking it one week at a time even though they all know in their back of their minds that September is near.

I think with a bit of luck we can go all the way this year. Credit to Simmo and the players.

Okay the Pies versus Richmond. Basically a win-win.

If Pies win we have a shot for first. If Tigers win top 2 is basically ours.

Which do we want more?
There is no difference between finishing first and second, finals wise. So we may as well barrack for a result that goes a long way towards seeing us finish second.i.e. a Richmond win

The alternative is a result which sees us fighting for 1st, but with the third placed team still breathing down our necks.

The reward of maybe finishing first is not worth the risk of finishing third. Go Tiges.

Thinking the same. Even if we push the Tigers to second they will still either play the Pies or an interstate team at the MCG.
