Gone for a lurk on the almighty Carlton killers’ board. Imagine having a season wherein the bar was this low.

The mentality was there and we kicked over 100 pts which is a awesome considering!
Kicked over 100 points today

Very slow start. Second half was much improved.

Gee Whizz big games next weekend shaping the top 4

Collingwood / Port Adelaide
GWS / Sydney
Eagles / Melbourne
Richmond / Essendon

Hawks good chance of top 4 I believe now .
Take my hat off to the Hawks, they rebuild quietly while the likes of Fremantle babble on about 'rebuild' endlessly and achieve nothing.
We need a good win this week, not just scrape over the line against an average team. We have to go into finals in good form, confident and in a strong state of mind to have any chance at the big dance.

seeing the cult-like mentality the freo board has built around Ross is truly strange
Par for the course for Freo. They have chips on their shoulders about everything in life thats what made them support Freo.
So when the rest of the world is telling you "x" is "shit you should really get rid of it" the chip just gets bigger and the level of denial about "x" just gets worse. The justification of "x" is increased as its just the rest of the world that is wrong.

Note: for this exercise "x" represents anything that can see budding potential in female "x"'s around the workplace.

Just had a look over at the hypocrite board aka Freo and saw the outrage about the Gaff / Brayshaw incident.
Sticking to their hatred rather than accepting it was not intentional is their position.

I had a quick look at the comments on their board from back when Solomon caved in Cameron Ling’s face with a raised elbow. The comments below are from the Freo board posted by Freo supporters.

Footy players don't often elbow each other in the head either but I didn't think Solomon's hit on Ling was deliberate.

its a bit like everyone attacking Solomons character after lasts years incident. stupid things done on the football field in split seconds don't give you an great insight into a persons personality. Seeing Ling and Solly chat after the game today shows you that people on bigfooty take things way to personally compared to the players themselves.

Ling is a complete prick - I hope he gets seriously injured and never plays again.
The "Ling incident" was spareked by Ling's decision to rough up Hill - the lightest player on our list.
My only regret is that Solomon did not kill Ling with his flying elbow last year.

Not condoning what Solomon did. But part of the reason for his harsh suspension was because Ling was going to miss a 'month' of footy.

In hindsight was 8 weeks too harsh.

You'd think Ling was dead the way the Geelong lot on this site have been carrying on.

what a crock.
Staker only missed a week, should BBB have got a lighter sentence as well.

Should have given Hall a medal.

Mate, they wanted black armbands and a minutes silence for Shane Yarran, and there’s a guy posting over there with this sig
‘The Serial Killer is a West Coast Eagles fan’
Apparently it goes without saying and was known years before the media released it. Trolling doesn’t get any more low than that...but its all ok over there.

Pinned the arms, slammed the players head into the turf in a slinging motion. Does not seem overly harsh to me. What am I missing?
Didn't seem malicious to me live is all.

Ball dislodged, was he supposed to know this?

Replays always look worse.

Aidyn Johnson, Port Adelaide, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Thomas Cole, West Coast Eagles, during the third quarter of the Round 21 match between Port Adelaide and the West Coast Eagles, played at Adelaide Oval on Saturday August 11, 2018.

In summary, he can accept a $2,000 sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence and a medical report from the West Coast Eagles Football Club the incident was assessed as careless contact with low impact to the head.

The incident was classified as a $3,000 sanction.

The player is able to accept a $2,000 sanction with an early plea.
Hopefully that shuts up the Port flogs who keep insisting that Cole took a dive

Tex a bit stiff to get two weeks do we think?
Nyhuis got 3 for his tackle on Gray didn't he?
