In the end no matter what you think of Harley Bennell or Freo, you never want AFL players to have their careers ruined by injury, especially injuries that could plague them long after they retire. It is just a game for our entertainment, in the end.

Though I agree, his career was ruined when he couldn’t stop getting on the nose beers at Gold Coast and ultimately got delisted. It all went downhill from there.

The game is poorer for not having talent like Bennell playing in the big league.

Freo take a lot of gambles that never pay off. If they did though, they could have a weapon list. Bennell, Morabito, 2015 McCarthy on top of Fyfe, Hill, and co.

Brayshaw and Cerra are behind where they were touted to be, Pearce can’t get a decent run, Taberner’s approaching cooked levels, Cox isn’t looking promising and now there’s Hogan’s foot.

If all those players turned it on like they were supposed to I’d be a shit scared coming up against them.

Hardly, they're just kids and are pretty safe selections. The problem Fremantle made was picking both of them instead of one.

Will almost me make or break for Cam McCarthy whilst Hogan is out. Out of contract at Freo I believe and unlikely to be given a new deal at this stage you would think barring a form reversal.

Hardly, they're just kids and are pretty safe selections. The problem Fremantle made was picking both of them instead of one.

Brayshaw is probably where he should be, I think he's averaging about 16 touches a game.

Someone will take a chance on him.. a desperate club like Saints or North. Upside is far better than most other rookie listed players out there but obviously the paper calves are an issue.

His calf is shot, imagine the scar tissue!

His upside is now below the sky high downside risk of him injuring it in a game and leaving you short a player.

Unless Freo rookie him, he's finished.

If there’s any justice in the world, Gov will get off while Walters doesn’t just for the ensuing melts. They don’t need him to beat Carlton anyway, give him a week’s rest before their GF.
