Fans should be just a bit cleverer when they pick their moments. I'm all for wellworded umpire abuse.

It’s possible to go to a footy match and get behind your team without hurling abuse at the umpires or players.

What world do you come from? It's been going on at football since Adam was a boy and is part of the theatre. Particularly as this year in my opinion the umpiring leaves a lot to be desired. A bit of consistency wouldn't go astray.

But they also called Simpson a whinger for his post-grand final meeting with Gil where he was trying to get a better deal for the interstate sides. They are that petty and short sighted they failed to see that their club benefits from Simpsons proposals if they worked with the AFL.

This is one of those issues where both clubs should just swallow their pride and present a united front.

Football should be prioritised, being the main tenant and the one that pays the bills. I don't care if there's cricket and concerts. Fix the scheduling and get it right. It's ridiculous and a legitimate duty of care issue.

Haha surely can't be serious, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it was.
Honestly the AFL are really putting me off football at the moment, I think this season is probably the least amount of football I've watched in my life.
