Agreed. At 24 you get enough long term value from him that it makes sense to offer that if required (noting that they want points, not picks, so probably flip that for later picks to someone else).

Lets see here. Merret, Draper, Ridley, Laverde are all wanting to leave, and it's been report that Redman was asking around mid season as well.
Maybe it's not Merrett, maybe it's that toxic club who destroyed a playing list, then proceeded to waste players careers, all while refusing to distance itself from people at the root cause of much of their problems?
