No, I find the game too quick and hard to follow nowadays. Watching run and gun slingshot footy on repeat gets tiresome IMO.

The game doesn’t really get room to breathe anymore. It often isn’t until the end of the 3rd when fatigue kicks in that we get some variety in play. I feel like we’ve lost some nuance and soul from footy, but maybe I’m just looking at the past with rose coloured glasses.

Shit skills, dinky forward kicks to space, no real physicality in terms of proper technique bumps or brick shithouses running into other brick shithouses.

I get they’re all athletic and pushing their bodies to the limits but it sometimes feels like it’s big athletic runs all day guys vs smaller athletic runs all day guys and not footballers with specific skills or traits.

Yes we was but when he was with us he copped some baths by blokes like Curnow because the ball was coming in with no pressure..He had no real option but to try and read the ball and intercept.
Now he can defend with confidence knowing hi man wont get laced on a lead and he can go the 1on1 spoil rather than risk peeling off.

Ginni gone up a gear and largely lost the duck from his game, it’s genuinely impressive to see given how much he relied on it early days.

That one deep in Swans backline though, the duck that the forward tackling him didn’t fall for, just has to be prior. Umps stay cowards late in games, same shit that gifted McRae’s Pies the “fall on the pile and tackle your own man to milk clock” flag.
