Hi all,

I have been reading this forum on and off for far longer than I would like to admit but today I finally have a reason to emerge from the shadows and post. I wasn't sure where to head, so if there is an existing thread for this sort of thing, please feel free to point me in the right direction. Long story short, I finally have a chance to snap up membership from someone who is selling a seat, with a second seat coming available for purchase in a year or two. The catch is, it's not an amazing seat. Once I have my foot in the door, is it possible to apply for some sort of transfer of seats or will I be stuck in this position for good? I imagine also that when we move to the new stadium, the new seats will be like for like?

Would also like to say I appreciate the chaps with all the training updates and the occasionally insightful opinions that go around. I have to admit I'm even partial to the inane chatter that wafts in through the off season... anything for a footy fix.
I'd say you'll have that seat for approximately one year. There is a small window before any lapsed memberships are allocated to "In the Wings" members where you can upgrade, ring and ask the membership crew.
New stadium you should be able to sit where you like as long as you stump up the cash.

It'll go fine.

My daughters are very keen to see how it goes, as are their friends.

I assume this is what we'll see from many families.
I can only speak on my own situation but my sister, who grew up with multiple mad football fans for brothers and somehow ended up with absolutely no interest in it, asked if I would take her to one of the AFLW games that Fremantle are playing. And if we could watch one of the other AFLW games together first so she can get a better idea of the game.

I said no though, because **** Freo.
