The NRL will be paying a heap of money for playing those games ....WA / McGowan wouldnt be able to knock it back .

Seems Aust v England in a ODI might be the opening sporting fixture anyway in late January .

Yeah hope so. McGowan the dickhead can **** off. I'm not really into politics but he reminds me off the annoying bloke from the odd couple and since then I have a negative view on him.

And Ed Sheeran is quite possibly not going to be the first act of the musical persuasion.

This sounds like a valid reason for disliking someone in primary school, not so much as adults.

By all means dislike pollies based on policy, not because they remind you of people from tv series. That's poor.

Populism is how it works, especially in this world of social media.

I don't think that quite lets you of the hook.

Voting is compulsory. You have an obligation to the community to make an informed choice. That's my take on it anyway.

I'm not too fussed as to who or what opens the stadium or plays before West Coast/Freo. Given the position of the state budget, the state needs to generate a return, and we don't have the luxury of sitting on our hands waiting for the 2018 AFL season to begin.

i take a bit more notice when it comes to the national election.

I got fined for not voting in the SA election a few years back and the last state election i voted for who my parents voted for.

Good to see you are an independent, clear-thinking bloke. I would be embarrassed to admit I voted the way my parents did because I knew nothing about politics.

Original or reboot, cause if it's the reboot you're insulting Thomas Lennon and that is not cool.

You are kidding right??
Filtering through the sh!t the spews forth from politicians, is about the equivalent of reading Barrets sliding doors each week to make an informed decision on the state of the AFL.

My guess is 90% of people will generally vote for the same party regardless of policy and the remaining 10% of swing voters, make a choice on BS superficial crap like Vish does. At least he is honest enough to admit it

Given the tendency for swings in the previous 10 years of federal elections, I would dispute that the numbers are that high. However, I have no doubt there are a significant number who may care far less than others and base their vote on things other than policy.

They should be throwing a huge WA centric event for the opening of the stadium.

Ed Sheeran, and then eastern states rugby teams playing a sport that most people don't give a **** about, to open the stadium..da fuq? Then to sell the naming rights..

I guess it's all about the $$$

something that i haven't added previously is that during election time i do a bit of research the night or two before. Last state election i did some but still chose to go with the ones my parents voted. That said state politics is still meh for me.

Everytime I see your name I think it stands for My Kitchen Matty, and that kinda annoys me.

If it makes you feel any better I'm certain Ochre would love you for the same reason.
