On the Port Adelaide fan racism incident from yesterday

I have heard it was a Port Adelaide players friends there as guests of the club to support their 2nd year West Australian friend.

There has been a theory/rumour put forward that these "Port" supporters were guests/friends of a young Port player and is part of the reason why him not being recruited by a Perth based club was always in his best interests.

So do the math as there was only one player from WA who went to port 2 years ago.

Not really the rules are very specific if you go the bump and head contact occurs you are pinged , was it malicious? No it wasn’t,
It was more a timing issue, but he made the choice to bump a player who was bent over and as such in that situation, there was always a chance of headhigh contact.

It wasn’t a dirty bit of play, nevertheless it contravened the laws of the game.

Do I like the way it’s ajudicated NO but that’s the way the game is played now.
All players have been adequately warned , that the onus is on them to not make head high contact when they go the bump.

You would be very surprised. Racism is not just for those with primarily white skin. Ply them with a few drinks and ask the Maori's what they think of Aboriginals or do the same with aboriginals and ask them what they think of Africans, or people of Asian descent.

Racist is a term from white people, given to white people as an excuse, to pardon and later to condemn them for their actions. Those treated with less regard have only speaken out and used it to reclaim rights taken for them long after.

Go back through history, go through every single century and look at what has happened to conquered peoples. Deep down people are greedy and that greed will manifest itself in anyway that people can to get them what they want. Whether it be a catch cry for one thing or to condemn someone else.

Looking at the video close ups, it seems pretty clear to me that Gray lined him up. It seemed to me the port players were instructed to hit us hard as revenge for the EF last year.
