'IF' the rumours are correct, Carlisle's sledging is about Mrs Murphy a few years ago.

Don't have a problem with Murphy giving Carlisle a spray when he got winded if that is the case.( I would do the same in that situation)

Only problem is Jake just probably doesn't understand. Probably doesn't understand Grade 4 Maths either..NTTAWWT

A good spray can be beneficial though. Memories of Smitchell in Masto's face when Petrie got him holding the ball preseason.

Masto playing very well ATM. (Not saying there's a correlation, but happy with Mitch being here & Masto's form).

Bottom line, Carlise is a knob & happy with Murphy giving it to him.

Never been a big fan of Murphy but good to see him show a bit of campaigner and then leave it on the field and not cry to the umps or AFL.

Scary, but the look on The HoneyBadger's face makes me frightened enough to think he might back up his threat at the time:)

The look on ginners face makes me think he'd be lucky to get within 10m of a female let alone get close enough to bump uglies with one

My memory might be wrong..wasn't the taunt 'I'll rape you're Mother' or something just as absurd?

But, yes, agree with your statement. Still love the Honeybadger.

I recall a game against Gold Coast where we wore full Royal

And it looked glorious

Bloody oath. We wore it against the Swans away in 2016 from memory.

If it were up to me we would wear one jumper - the royal, and maybe the navy as a clash.

Long live the jumper punch, forever may it reign. If Cotchin didn't get rubbed out then surely you can never suspend a player for a jumper punch ever again.

"The MRP considered that Cotchin was not looking directly at Neale when he landed the blow."

The linguistic gymnastics the MRP use to justify some decisions is outstanding

Cotchin punched Neale on the jaw with force and walks away with a $1,000 fine

Wondering if the umpires would use the same logic?

"The umpire considered that Gaff was not looking directly where he kicked the ball, therefore it was not deliberately played out of bounds."
"The umpire considered that Bontempelli was not looking directly where he handballed, therefore it was not a legitmate disposal."
"The umpire considered that the umpire was not looking where he bounced the ball, thererfore the ball will be thrown up."

I also like this furore over Murphy sledging, but you can literally punch anyone with no consequence.

In fairness, a player blindly kicking over his shoulder without looking still knows where the boundary is. How the hell could Cotchin have known that Neale's head, which was right there a second ago, could be sticking out of the head-hole on a jumper he has balled up into his fist?

Yeah its called a look-a-way punch all of the good mids are doing these days.

Old mate Petterd said he'd fly to Perth and kill Ginna. Ginna responded with 'well if you try that I'll rape your mother'.

Good wholesome family discussion really.

hahahahahaha

I'd like Lewis Jetta or some other fringe player to launch a haymaker on Fyfe in the next derby while he isn't looking and see if that defence works.

Incredible mental gymnastics to avoid suspending a star player.

I guess it worked for Hall on Staker..

Incredible mental gymnastics to avoid suspending a star player.

High water mark on this is still the 'insufficient force' justification for not suspending Judd for the elbow to Pavlich's face. He really should have thanked them in his Brownlow speech that year.

Anyone know what the romours about Mark Murphys Mrs are about? The way they are carrying on about it on talking footy. They must've let Milne into her bedroom or something. **** me
It's just the inability of (large) sections of the football media to focus on what's important/provide thoughtful analysis in preference to meaningless discussions on salacious controversy

So we get stories on Harley Bennell looking a bit dusty and some off colour sledging meanwhile we played a game in China, are in the midst of one of the most even seasons in my memory and still haven't got a resolution to a players CBA that sets among other things the salary cap for the current season that's approaching halfway

Imagine a world where New Idea or Women's Day was seen as factually reliable as any reputable news source. That's the AFL media for you. Headlines > Content of any weight.
