Hate that I am saying this but gee whiz I hope we don't extend what has been a very disappointing season by one week.

2017 needs to be put down, sooner rather than later.

True, it is a very very disappointing season. If we managed to fix our 4th quarter fade outs then we could have finished in the top 4 - not a bad result given NN's absence. Hope everything (particularly teams selections) changes for the better in 2018.

Add Naitanui, Lycett, Venables, Rioli, Karpany, our first round pick, and Tim Kelly to our team next year and we'll have a decent crack.

How good has Redden been the last 8 rounds with more responsibility in the midfield.

Trade in McGovern Jnr and a decent mid like Rockliff/or young gun midfield from another club with our war chest and we'll be loving life

Has a team (AFL or VFL) ever lost 3 consecutive games by more 100 points? Couldn't find any info on this. Fremantle are a fair chance next week making it impossible for us to better Essendon's percentage - we might as well not play Adelaide.

It's actually not that hard to envisage.

Its much much harder to imagine us progressing past the first week of the finals if we actually did make it
