You must have changed seats during the game because my recollection is that Hodges goal was in the pocket I was sitting in (next to the Hawk's cheer squad... City end) whereas Darling's effort was in the diagonally opposite pocket at the Richmond end.

I remember them being at the same end, but if they weren't, I guess I am wrong.

After the Darling drop I left my seat and went straight to the bar. So much pain...

Yeah I think it's amazing how different the 2 teams looked in the second quarter too, Hawks were full of confidence and taking risks while we were second guessing and fumbling. A massive part of that was the score board pressure.

I know a lot about bad backs having endured one for many years after being hit by a truck suffering a spiral fracture to the spine and 2 ruptured discs. Even if fyfe gets back to his best this will seriously affect the longevity of his career as well as season to season.
