Injuries haven't helped them or the off field stuff either.

Adding in Swallow, O'Meara, Bennell etc would make them a much different prospect to face.
Also add Thompson, rischitelli, saad & the suspended May and they look a completely different side. Just bad luck for a lot of it, I think. Nothing in there that screams poor management- just a bad run.

Not at all
We were the only club to beat every single team last year.
I was at the Geelong game last year. It was great. 58 points. Thanks for showing up Geelong.

Question is wether Geelong are a 59 point better team at home and with Dangerfield.
Think that was mainly due to playing the good sides at home. Don't know how we would have gone had we played them away (like this year)?

If WCE don't want to win enough we will get pounded .
WCE may be good on paper but the tight knit bond on the field doesn`t feel last year at this stage .
Still think we appear to be in cruise control at this stage - too many passengers, particularly when we play away. Just wish they could get that killer instinct going which appears to be lacking. Also being able to kick accurately would help of course;)

True true. I just more faith in the team. This is our year and as bad as the Hawks and Sydney games were if we get it to click were as dangerous as anyone.

I remember when the fixture for 2015 just came out and reading it.

No Geelong at KP! No Swans or Hawks away! Shit we might make finals with this draw, if we're good enough.

But that goes for any team. Look at Richmond. They've had years where they beat the grand finalists then lose to the team that finished 9th.

Beat the CollyWobbles first but can't see why we wouldn't at least put up a fight in Geelong.

Geelong are nowhere near Sydney or the Hawks.
Geelong have beaten the Hawks at the MCG in rd 1 by 30 points

Sorry i should have made myself clearer. I talking in the race for the flag.
I've mentined a few times how comical I thought it was that Geelong were 3rd favorites for the flag before round 1.

Geelong beat Hawks by 30 but GWS did them by 75. Does that mean GWS are the best team in the comp because they beat the best side by the most, hells no.

Everyone on here is writing us off before we even beat Collingwood and even rock up for next weeks game.
I think we're a good chance by 3 or 4 goals against Geelong. Comparing who's beaten who isn't going to change that.

I`m not writing us off but it will take our best footy to beat Geelong at home .
FWIW I think Geelong getting Dangerfield and Henderson plus Zac Smith are genuine contenders for the flag.

You and everyone else it seems.

I just don't see it. They lost to Melbourne last year at home FFS. They're shit IMO.

Can't wait for this one, now lets bring on the pies so the weekend can go out in style :thumbsu:
