So Port are playing like shite and losing to Brisbane, but beating them last week is hailed as one of our best wins in some time. We smack GWS by 80 something & were dismissed as flat track bullies, but then GWS come out the following week and down the reining premiers.

Let's not forget the lesson that Freo gave us a month ago, making us look like bottom 4 fodder.

What about the Bullies - epic choke against the Saints last week, then played out of their skins today to run Freo very close.

So hard to gauge where every team is at right now...apart from Freo.

Exactly, we will see in the coming month. Richmond, North, Collingwood and Geelong. Saints will be no easybeats either, esp. if they play like they did against Essendon and the Dogs!

Regardless of the outcome of this match, Brisbane were highly rated preseason for a reason - they have some serious midfield firepower. They were awful against us, but their new set up will click eventually and I can't see them winning the spoon.

Was always going to take a while for three new mids and a new coach to gel.

Good to see the woods lose ... love it.
I just hope the bears/lions can hang on ... would be a great weekend of results for us.

Tiges winning is a boon. Knocks Collingwood back a game and should give me my third round win in the office tipping comp. I love strutting around like a know all campaigner on Monday morning

Some enticing games for our fortunes next week:
Adelaide v GWS - I'd prefer GWS win. We know we have the wood on them.
Hawthorn v Sydney - probably Sydney as we'd potentially have two games on Hawthorn.
Fremantle v NM - Fremantle winning would potentially give us two games plus a large percentage on NM.
PA v Richmond - Richmond winning would be better as we know what level Port can perform at. Kick 'em while they are down etc...

If results fell our way this could possibly be the ladder after next week:
1. Fremantle - 32 points
2. West Coast - 24 points
3. GWS - 24 points
4. Sydney - 24 points
5. Collingwood - 20 points
6. Adelaide - 20 points
7. Western Bulldogs - 20 points
8. Hawthorn - 16 points
9. Richmond - 16 points
10. North Melbourne - 16 points
11. Essendon - 16 points
12. Geelong - 16 points
13. Port Adelaide - 12 points
14. St Kilda - 8 points
15. Melbourne - 8 points
16. Brisbane - 8 points
17. Gold Coast - 4 points
18. Carlton - 4 points
