I just wonder with guys like Voss coaching...when they played they were so dominant that maybe they don't see how to design a system that allows for the weaknesses of their playing group or they don't know how to adapt their game plan when confronted with the disparity in what they are trying to do and what gets dished up?

You mean the Three Brownlow Amigos in Voss, Buckley and Hird. A checkered coaching career so far for all three.

Anyone else seeing the comparisons between the 2013 Eagles and 2015 Power? Both finished 5th the prior year, both were tipped to be premiership contenders and both flopped when push came to shove.

or maybe port ain't good and we still flat track bullies
Honestly there is only one team in the competition we could beat and lose that label, and we already lost to them in round 3. Will need to do better in the second half of the season and hope their form drops off.

Actually, I would really, really like to beat Sydney this year, have we actually beat them since '06?

Lol, I don't think Fyfe even slipped. Stevens just broke his ankles.

Still a pretty average trip, could have done some real damage. I was tripped over by a teammate at training in a similar fashion a few years ago. Played with ankle soreness for the rest of the year.

That being said, when was the last time someone was suspended for a trip? He'll cop a fine and be done with it.
