Well Gold Coast ate struggling a bit so not such a surprise he'd want out

Why Richmond though when hawthorn had been in his ear doesn't make much sense other than more dollars
They are but I feel theyvare closer to putting a winning season together than Richmond are. But that's just my opinion.

And I think $ is where it comes down to in the end. The comp and players have well and truly turned the corner on the 'loyalty' and to some extent 'success' thing.

The go-home factor coupled with good dollars seems to be able to override the playing for a successful team idea (although I'm sure he believes there's enough at Richmond to get there over the next few years).

This is what gives those purple puppets hope to think they can get Lobb, Hogan, McCarthy and all other comers, regardless of how shit they are going to be over the next few years.

Schofield just posted this link on his twitter - an article by Josh Jenkins about the CBA negotiations.

Thought it was pretty interesting, not to mention better written than most sports journalists. I like the idea that greater access to players by fans/media is beneficial for all. God it would be great if the AFL and clubs were a little less conservative.

I like the fact that the players have some kind of private sanctum in the rooms, away from the media. Do we need even more inane interviews like the in-game ones where the players give cliched nothing answers?
