He just feels the need to go on & on about his background, & the struggles of the indigenous etc, and try and make us all feel bad for the decisions made by people 200 years ago, it happened, lets all move on. He comes across the same as every other person "fighting" for aboriginal rights etc, blame the white man for everything, and claim racisim anytime someone trys to point out certain issues within thier communities, and their place in general society.

This right here is why he needs to keep going. It's pretty easy to want to move on when it has no effect on you and you don't really understand what other people are going through.

So I assume you feel the same about Wirra then?

Plenty of players get booed.

Goodes is a sniping, sooking, umpire looking, front running knob jockey

Deserves every boo he gets
Do they actually? Which players get booed week in week out like Goodes now seems to get?

So how long do you hold onto the past for?? And how long can you use it as an excuse for the current situation?

The difference between Wirra and Goodes is pretty clear. Goodes whinges to the media and plays the racism card whenever things don't go his way.

Wirra lead by example on-field and has never played the racism card. He has done amazing things for the indigenous community through his foundation, and entrenched these values in our club.

I have not heard any of them booed repeatedly like Goodes does.

Watson got booed once v us ffs.

Not true, Collingwood and Carlton fans also booed him but they got glossed over because they are also Victorian.

In any case with Goodes it just comes down to being a knob transcends the colour of his skin, which is why he gets booed.

Do I miss Goodes weekly TV show or something? He got called an ape, during Indigenous Round, and had a press conference after it.

He also has his own foundation, like Wirra, which is something most people don't seem to know despite the fact 95% of all media in this country is apparently Goodes talking about racism.

Do you really think this is just about the distant past? Nothing bad has happened in the 200 years since I suppose? Today Indigenous people make up 3% of the general population, and 27% of the population in jails.

Does that look like something we should all move on from?

To be fair, I haven't heard much of what Wirra's had to say, Goodes though, we have all heard more than enough.
Wirra is good for a laugh. On the footy show before the grand final the year he retired he was cracking a few jokes. Calling Nic Nat 'Brother Darkness' and talking about how in the press conference for his retirement, when asked how he wanted to be remembered he said "just as a good looking black fella."

It's actually closer to 50% in WA. That's my point though, is it everyone else's fault that this is the case these days?? This Bloke actually had the balls to come out and tell it like it is.

So one guy backs up you're view and he's 100% correct? A heap of prominent indigenous people in the community loudly disagree with Noel Pearson. Are they 100% wrong? Have you studied the issue in depth, or do you just read newspaper opinion pieces?
