Last week even another umpire remarked how lucky Cyril was getting let off a head high hit - it's amazing how few times Hawthorn players seem to get the benefit of the doubt.

Even in the media they get let off easy - Hill lurches from one off field issue to another and nothing but a by line. Any other club (particularly interstate) and its leading news.

Good luck to them because what ever they are doing appears to work.

Obviously this is finally Norf conceding this list will not get them a Premiership? Clearly Scott and his cronies are nowhere near as astute as half the WCE BF board, who called this a few years ago, and certainly picked Norf's lack of finals credentials early in the year, even when they were 8-0. Boomer et al while probably better than a pick 120 stifles the opportunities for those young kids to come through, and for what? Another mid-table finish?
