Looks like the NAB cup has another casualty with Duffield in a lot of pain with what appears to be a shoulder injury late in the match.

Haven't seen the match so not sure how both sides played but sounded like tough conditions produced a scrappy affair.

Melbourne came out and actually outplayed Freo for the second half. Couldn't impact the scoreboard enough in the last qaurter though.

I thought the MRP were going to show a bit more sense this year and be more lenient on suspending players, and hand out more fines for minor things.

The fact the Tom Lynch incident is considered a 2 week ban (without the early plea) is a joke, nothing much in it for mine.
