The dots basically are they can't prove which players took what or if all of them took TB4. However i can't see this being resolved without a minimum of jobe going down and losing his brownlow due to his comments.

But it's not proof beyond a reasonable doubt. This isn't murder.

The dots could be joined to the satisfaction of a reasonable man, which is enough I believe.

No wonder regular people think judges are from outer space.

They attempted to procure, compound and inject TB4 but because they didn't send the procured product off to some other lab to confirm it was TB4 and keep the record of said result on hand for the judges to see it is unclear that the players received TB4. Seems legit.

Bizarre isnt it? What are they hoping for? To find vials that say "Warning contains WADA banned drug TB4" so they can say a-ha caught you.

They seriously need to look at the behaviour of the people involved their unwillingness to co-operate, which should be used against them, and the fact that the trail leads to their door.

Given all that info its quite ridiculous that they got off. Seems like a impractical burden of proof level here - its not murder. These athletes know what cheating is -they know they have to be careful with anything they take. Its all plausible deniability BS. A lack of curiosity is not a defence.
Yep. Basically saying they are 99% sure it was TB4 but that 1% stops them from banning anyone. To take it further they are going to have to get someone to admit what it was

My issue has always been the AFL with this. The players were jabbed unknowingly with or without PEDs. Feel sorry for the players who put up with the media hounding you for years. You know your club doctor comes up to you with a needle and you feel comfortable enough to take it. Essendon copped their due by missing out on the finals in 2013. But the AFL orchestrated this result. And if it were us, we'd have been thrown under the bus. Fcuking kents.
Essondons club doctor did not jab them ... he refused to be part of it .. that should have been alarm bells

An AFL tribunal was never going to seriously harm the AFL by producing a guilty verdict. I don't care if it's said that the judges were considered "independent", they're still sitting on an AFL tribunal that's under AFL influence. I think the verdict was long ago decided, before and regardless of submitted evidence. The time needed was to sift through the evidence to find rationalizations for a not guilty verdict and hence a way out of this mess without destroying the AFL brand and one of its biggest cash cows.

Kamdyn Mcintosh tearing it up, game-high 22 touches, 9 marks and a goal, by the start of the last quarter.

I remember reading about him during draft time years ago, wasn't he a key defender prospect?

If we lose to Carlton in round 2 I'm gonna lose my shit. It's gonna be another long year for them.

Funniest was the thread on the main board, their fans got stroppy when people said bottom 4/spoon chance and they said they were a chance to make the 8.

Not bizarre at all, all very carefully orchestrated by Essendon and the AFL to ensure the result.
I really don't like the Aints but now I despise Essendon and am relatively disinterested in the AFL. For the time being. That will all change over time. :)
