Did many of you watch Malthouse's presser?
I was quite surprised at his attitude, putting all the blame on the players and not taking much on the chin.
When you have a bloke like Casboult who is a gun at marking, but has an incorrect kicking technique, surely the coach needs to step up and get that right?
He also mentioned that he had complete faith in the fitness of the players, because he has worked with his fitness coach for 13 years. Well that is reassuring.

Yes, this exactly. I think we played very well last week even though we lost. Great transition and corridor play, and that was evident yesterday too.

I wrote them off at the start of the year along with most. When you lose that much experience in a young team you expect the worse. They are playing a good brand of football though that looks difficult to play against.

Dogs rolled Richmond the same as they rolled us . High intensity game . I don't know how long into the season dog can keep this kind of game plan up .
That is the thing ... it will likely tell on them as the season rolls on, especially as amongst all that young talent, they have a few oldies too. They could be breakdown candidates later on.
Has been pretty sloppy early though, from both sides. Im watching on FTA already knowing the result..
