Port's fixture has been cruel but they would have been hoping for better so far methinks. Just goes to show that once you take that leap up the ladder you best be ready as it only gets tougher from there, as we found out in 2012 and 2013.

I don't like Sydney either but a Granny repeat is on the cards atm. That was a complete performance. They have won 19 out of the last 20 regular season games.

After watching the Dogs handle Richmond I feel a tad better about losing to them in round 1.... only a tad though

He s hard and tough and has good composture took a couple of strong marks .I liked his tackle on Carlise in the 4 th quarter when he stopped big Carlise when he tried to crash through the young fella .The game was a high pressure game so he didn't have a blinding game but interestingly enough he made the Sydney best player list in a team of stars .

The dogs are in good form and are peaking too early to be top 8 but good early wins to build there membership and raise the supporters hopes with this exciting brand of footy .

No one expected them to be top 8 though. They lost a fair bit of talent last year in their skipper and a brownlow medalist, and Libba (arguably their best mid) is out for the season with a knee.

I would think that if they were to win 8+ games and show some good signs, their fans would be happy. But the way they have started 10 or more doesn't look totally fanciful.
